Executive Producer, Thick As Thieves
With a background in the NZ film industry Nik produced many award-winning short films including a hat-trick of Cannes Official Competition selected short films.
Nik then took his skills of talent development into commercials. Nik co-founded Thick as Thieves. Nik has been successful in developing and fostering the vibrant careers of many celebrated NZ directors; David Rittey, Sima Urale, Leo Woodhead, Zoe McIntosh, Michele Saville, and THUNDERLIPS.
In 2014 Nik was a finalist for the Producer Award at the Cannes Young Director Awards. Nik’s work has been recognized and awarded and locally and internationally at the Axis Awards and Effie’s in NZ, Award & DGA in Australia, Clio in the US, The Cannes Lions, D&AD, and others.
Nik recently served as Jury Member on the 2021 Cannes Young Director Awards.
