Freelance Producer
Sam Kilbreth studied documentary filmmaking at Harvard, then found himself in New York a few years later mostly following his heart, but also needing to pay the bills; so he took a job as the inhouse editor for a fledgling ad agency in NY called Droga5 where everyone sat in one large room. He ended up sticking around for seven years after having transitioned quickly into a broadcast/content producer role. It was in this role that he began to appreciate craft , thanks to some great mentoring and the opportunity to work on films for PUMA, Coke Zero, Prudential, Hennessy, and Chobani. Still following his heart, Sam and his wife decided to move to the great state of Maine, where he had grown up. Since relocating, Sam has freelanced for Digitas LBi, Hudson Rouge, Untitled Worldwide, BBH NY, Bullish, Johnannes Leonardo, and Wieden+Kennedy NY, producing content for brands such as Lincoln, PlayStation, Gainbridge, American Express, and Bud Light. Sam currently lives in Portland, ME with his wife and their two children.
