Gale is a multifaceted emerging Filmmaker from Johannesburg South Africa. As A Graduate In 2016 Gale was one of Design Indaba’s Emerging Creatives. Most recently, Gale’s Fashion film (for NAOSERATI and Zoe Modiga) was featured at the 2018 Bokeh Fashion Film Festival, in Cape Town as well as “As Told By Us” – A visual anthology on the multiplicity of Black stories in New York City by For Africans By Africans and Afriquette; and ON SIGHT – a video exhibition held by Michealis Galley/UCT.
Her work has been featured in International and South African publications: Bitch Media; Afripedia; The Lake, Source Creative/Shots; Little Black Book; ELLE, Mail & Guardian, and The Sunday Time. Gale’s offbeat and raw approach to image/directing comes through in her offbeat and in-the-moment approach to documenting unforgettable moments that hold an incredible depth; either pushing you to stare longer or laugh harder.
In three years with her representation Darling TV (Run By Executive Producers Lorraine Smit & Melina McDonald) Gale has worked with brands like: Netflix; Jameson’s; Brutal Fruit; Jäegermeister; Kit Kat; Unilever; Nestle; Hyundai; KFC; Lux; Joko; DSTV; Simba; All Gold; Doom; ; Inecto; SARS; Tyme Bank and more.
In 2020 Gale became a Global Ambassador for GIRLS IN FILM a grassroots organization that wants to help previously marginalized people (POC; femme and queer people) make it in the film industry. She was chosen to join the Loeries Youth Committee (2021)
