Malcolm Venville is a photographer and director of commercials, features and documentaries. His work includes television commercials that have won Lions at Cannes, Clio Awards, ANDY Awards and the AICP’s Award of Overall Excellence including an Emmy nomination for his Volkswagen’s “Squares” spot.
Venville’s features are “44 Inch Chest” with Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, and John Hurt. “Henry’s Crime” starred Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga and James Caan. His award-winning short films include Silent Film and Remembering Sister Ruth.
Recently completed projects are the feature documentary “And We Go Green” 2019, “Grant”, based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Ulysses Grant and “Theodore Roosevelt” 2022, both are A&E miniseries produced by Radical Media. February 2022 A&E will air the three episode miniseries “Abraham Lincoln”.
Venville has published three works of photography: Layers (2003), Lucha Loco (2006) and The Women of Casa X (Schilt 2013).
