Artist & Director, The Glue Society
Paul Bruty is a multi-award-winning experiential artist and film director with over 25 years of experience in the commercial creative field, focusing on authenticity and communication at the heart of his work.
Since joining art and directing collective The Glue Society in 2008, he has collaborated with prominent brand clients such as Cadbury, the Children’s Cancer Institute, Mars, McDonald's, Pepsi, and TEDx. His work has garnered significant recognition, including two Grand Prix awards at Cannes Lions. In 2022, Bruty was the only Australian director honoured on the Cannes Lions Top Director List.
His most recent directorial projects include the epic Sheba coral restoration project ‘Hope Reef’, Nike’s ‘Playground for All’ in Korea, Louis Vuitton’s partnership with People for Wildlife, and JP Morgan Chase’s ‘The Waiting Workforce’.
Prior to joining The Glue Society, he was Chief Designer and Art Director at Nick Knight’s SHOWStudio, which provided him access to world-leading image-makers, fashion luminaries, and artists, including Björk, Kate Moss, Alexander McQueen, Tracey Emin, and Peter Saville.
Bruty graduated from the world-renowned arts and design college Central Saint Martins (London) in 1998 with a degree in Illustration, Traditional Print, and Graphic Design.
