With over a decade at Sonar, Sophie Haydon has been instrumental in shaping one of the most awarded music and sound companies in the region, driving the rapid growth of its advertising division and overseeing internationally recognised work for brands including Qantas, Coca-Cola, HBO, Netflix, Telstra and Nike.

She recently spearheaded the expansion into Sonic Branding, leading projects for clients such as Airwallex, Australia Post, NRMA, Coates, AHM and Adelaide University.

Alongside her commercial work, Haydon continues to grow Sonar’s long-form slate across film, television and documentary, with credits including Christy (Sydney Sweeney), I Am Mother (Hilary Swank), the Oscar-nominated Tanna, Star Wars: The Director and the Jedi (Lucasfilm) and HBO’s Fahrenheit 451. Recent television projects include Disney’s The Artful Dodger, Netflix’s Wellmania and the international hit series Bump.

Her work has been recognised at leading global awards including The One Show, Clio Music Awards, London International Awards, AWARD Awards and SHOTS, alongside multiple AGSC and AACTA Awards.

Haydon has served on juries for Spikes Asia, CICLOPE, AWARD, SHOTS, MADC, AICP and 1.4, and is one of the few producers in the region whose work spans both globally awarded advertising and internationally recognised film and television.
