Senior Executive Producer, Caviar

Kim has spent the last decade as Senior Executive Producer Caviar Los Angeles and was promoted to Partner in 2017. Kim has played a fundamental role in the growth and success of the company over the past decade, developing and signing directors, as well as producing award-winning commercials and music videos.  

Prior to joining Caviar, Kim began her career working in the art departments of record labels such as Capitol, RCA, and MCA, handling photo shoots, album packaging and music videos. She eventually made the jump to the production side as an Executive Producer at top music video shops A Band Apart and Propaganda. In 2001, she started at RSA, where she went onto run Black Dog Films for over ten years, producing a wide range of Grammy and MTV award-winning music videos for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Rolling Stones, Green Day, Madonna, Beyoncé, and Rihanna, among many others.  In 2012 Kim made the jump into advertising moving to HSI where she served as Executive Producer before moving to Caviar LA.  At Caviar, Kim has been a part of some amazing campaign for brands such as Adidas, Nike, Converse, Coke and Geico while also keeping a hand in music video and producing award winning projects for Selena Gomez, Jay Z, Shawn Mendes and Olivia Rodrigo.

Kim thrives on supporting and developing new directors which she has done for decades, including playing a pivotal role the early successes of notable directors such as Patrick Daughters, The Malloys, Karim Huu Do, Los Perez and Melina Matsoukus.

Most recently Kim served as a mentor producer in the DGA Commercial Directors Diversity Program, which works to foster awareness and increase directing opportunities for women and other historically underrepresented groups. As a mentor, Kim was able to support young directors showing them the ropes of commercial production and helping create their first full-fledged spec commercials.

Kim lives in the Los Angeles area and when not shooting, she can usually be found in the ocean or hanging around with her two dogs and horses.
