Jac (b.1987) is a photographer and filmmaker from Southern California, with a focus on portrait and long-term fine art projects. After a short term in art school studying photography, Jac has since been self-taught by absorbing many art forms and collaborating with creatives in the fashion and film industry out of Los Angeles later moving to New York where she now resides. She has worked with clients such as Calvin Klein, Macy’s, Vogue, G.E. and has had many opportunities to collaborate with filmmakers like Kahlil Joseph, Daniel Wolfe, and Spike Lee.
Despite having been taking photographs for over a decade she says, “I’m only just beginning.” She hopes to continue narrowing the distance between viewer and the more nuanced realities and develop a better understanding of the human condition in each frame still and in motion.
