Nadira Amrani is an award-winning British-Algerian director whose distinctive visual language spans film, television, commercials and music. Named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2022, Nadira has built an impressive body of work for some of the world’s leading brands, including Nike, OPPO, i-D and Hugo Boss, alongside music videos for a new generation of influential artists.

Her work has earned recognition across the industry, with Avelino’s Higher Power receiving an UKMVA nomination and Bree Runway’s Pressure winning three Creative Circle Awards.

Amrani began her narrative filmmaking career with Fly, which premiered globally at the BFI Film Festival in 2018. She has since moved confidently into television, directing for Disney+’s Extraordinary and Channel 4’s Consent and Mincemeat, the latter forming part of the BAFTA-nominated On the Edge series.

With a practice rooted in strong visual storytelling, cultural instinct and a sharp eye for emerging talent, Amrani brings a considered and contemporary perspective to the jury. She is currently developing her debut feature film.
