Naghmeh was born in Iran but had to leave as a child and settling in provincial Denmark. Now based in Copenhagen, her diverse life experiences serve as a source of inspiration.
Always drawn to literature and storytelling, she studied English and Scriptwriting at University of Southern Denmark, before going on to become a Director’s Assistant at new—land, where she is learning from some of the industry’s foremost directors. She draws inspiration from Iranian cinema, infusing its influence into her work.
Naghmeh's work is characterised by meaningful symbols and metaphors, driven by her strong desire to evoke emotions and encourage reflection in her audiences.
Her achievements include 2 bronze Cannes Lions awards, 1 gold and 2 silver YDA awards, and 2 D&AD Wood Pencil awards.
