Founder & EP, JYOTI Film
Anke Petersen was an inherent part of Commercial film production company Tony Petersen Film for over two decades before she started her own company JYOTI Film to produce and co-produce internationally acclaimed documentaries and fiction shorts with a strong focus on bold cinematic voices, socially relevant and emancipatory themes, and stories from and about women and queers, with a commitment to diversity, sustainability, and international collaboration.
Her coproduced films regularly premiere and win awards at major festivals such as Berlinale, BFI London Film Festival, Chicago international Film Festival. She additionally serves as a producer of the annual Young Director Award and is a member of the European Film Academy.
