Alexandre de Franceschi has been an editor of films, TV, music videos and commercials for 40 years.
In 2004 he received the Australian Screen Editors accreditation “in recognition of excellence in screen editing and outstanding contribution to Australian screen culture”.
Alexandre’s commercial career has seen him awarded with a myriad of local and international editing awards.
He has edited over 3,000 commercials and is the editor of choice for top world-renowned directors, maintaining ongoing relationships with directors Steve Rogers, Justin Kurzel, Andreas Nilsson among others.
Alexandre’s award-winning career editing over 30 feature films has seen him continue to re-team with acclaimed directors.
His latest work for Director Justin Kurzel, Narrow Road to the Deep North (Jacob Elordi, Odessa Young, Ciaran Hinds), a five-part series based on the Booker Prize-winning novel by Richard Flanagan, is currently airing on Amazon-MGM PRIME, after receiving a special screening at the Berlin Film Festival. So far garnering an extraordinary 100% Critics Reviews on Rotten Tomatoes and high praise in the international press.
