From relatively humble beginnings in her native Taiwan, Claire Teng’s star became sufficiently prominent, after a stint on the Flame visual effects system in Shanghai, that the largest post house in Bangkok, and probably South East Asia, came calling. Teng immediately became one of the most in-demand digital artists in that city during an era of high volume, high intensity and high standards. Her hallmarks were already obvious: attention to detail, a strong design aesthetic, good taste and a refusal to accept less than the best possible. After further periods in London and Singapore, she returned to Bangkok and co-founded Bloom Film Design, an award-winning boutique VFX house with a world-class showreel and a client list befitting the creative and technical standards it is capable of.
