Lucas Brooking is a Group Creative Director and Head of Design and 2D Animation at BUCK. He leads a team of designers, animators, and creatives and fosters a culture of excellence and collaboration while driving the artistic vision and execution of the studio’s projects.
Brooking is known for pushing creative boundaries, making him a respected leader known for his ability to balance bold artistic vision with meticulous attention to detail. He began his career as a motion designer before joining BUCK in 2015 as an art director. Over the years, he advanced to his current role as creative director, taking on responsibilities that range from pitching and concept development to talent acquisition and client relationships. His expertise in 2D animation and design has contributed to projects for major brands, including Apple, Meta, and Nike, which have been recognised by AWARD Awards, ADC, D&AD, AGDA, AEAF, and the Best Awards.
