Eric Hu is Founder and EP at Republic, a boutique motion design and animation studio that has carved out a reputation in China for delivering world-class animation that bridges global aesthetics with culturally resonant storytelling.
His nearly two decades in commercial animation and production has seen him lead teams of animators, directors, and designers across continents in crafting visually compelling work tailored to the evolving tastes of Chinese audiences. These include large-scale collaborations both local and global for top agencies and brands including Apple, Coke, Nike, Huawei, Porsche, Yum, and more.
