Christian Lopez is an independent creative director with a background in art direction and graphic design, though his true strengths lie in storytelling and visual communication. Whether collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team with writers, directors, designers, photographers, or working independently, his mission remains the same: to create genuinely bold and provocative communication.
With over 20 years of experience in advertising, Lopez has worked with brands such as Nike, Google, Ford, Adidas, Evian, IKEA, Square, and Audi, partnering with agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, Uncommon Creative Studio, 72andSunny, Droga5, Johannes Leonardo, among others.
Beyond his commercial work, he dedicates significant time to personal projects, ranging from documentary films to books and more experimental endeavours that often overlap with his professional practice. His personal and commercial work has been recognised at D&AD, Cannes Lions, SXSW, Slamdance Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Raindance Film Festival, Art Directors Club, and Ciclope Film Festival, and has been published in places such as The Wire, Numero, Pitchfork, It’s Nice That and Creative Boom.
