Founder, EP & Consultant, LE Collaborations
Leonie Ellis is the Founder of LE Collaborations, a consultancy that partners with innovative production companies and creative studios. Working closely with leadership, LE Collabs aligns creative ambition with bespoke strategy to drive commercial growth in an evolving industry. Past and present partners include global networks and ambitious independents.
Current clients include Private Island, who have developed a global reputation as pioneers in the creative use of AI within films; The Perlin, a new independent VFX studio founded by ex-Mill and MPC Creative Directors whose debut campaign was with Spike Jonze for Apple; Witness, a Cannes Lions Grand Prix winning studio; and the creative force Brother Film & Music.
Before founding LE Collabs, Leonie held senior roles in London’s top commercial production companies for 15 years, including BlinkInk during Blink Productions’ reign as British Arrows' No.1 Production Company. She was instrumental in the launch of both Spindle as Executive Producer and Electric Studios from Electric Theatre Collective, and became a partner at the first company she joined. Committed to the success of every company she’s been part of, all rose in Televisual’s Commercial Top 30 during her tenure. Her career began in film (Warner Bros), scripted TV (BBC), live broadcast (Endemol), and agency-side television roles in leading London ad agencies.
Leonie's industry recognition includes serving on the Creative Circle Gold Jury and the 1.4 Awards, panel speaking, editorial contributions, and being selected for Pitch Magazine's inaugural Superwomen in the creative industry.
