Sound Designer, Sauvage Sound Studios
Head Judge – Use of Music and Sound Design
Michaël Sauvage is a sound designer with a refined ear and a sharp eye for detail. A graduate of the Netherlands Film Academy (Class of 2006), he has been active in the world of sound for film since 2005. His work spans a wide range of projects — from feature films and documentaries to high-end commercials and tv-series. Michaël’s signature blends technical precision with emotional depth, allowing stories to be not just heard, but truly felt.
Since 2020, he co-runs Sauvage Sound Studios together with Quincy Vlijtig, where they continue to shape sonic identities for commercials, branded content, and fiction projects — combining craft, collaboration, and creative instinct.
