Originally from Galicia, Catarina Barcala is an Associate Creative Director at VML Commerce in New York. Before that, she bounced around Tokyo, Barcelona, Mexico City and Madrid.
Her work has been recognised at Cannes, Young Lions, ADC, Clios & D&AD. Last summer, she put together Ink Archives, an exhibition celebrating tattoos as a form of art.
