Motion Designer and Animation Director, Freelance
Daniel Duda is a senior 2D motion designer and animation director based in Curitiba, Brazil, with a degree in Film and Television and a postgraduate degree in Modern and Contemporary Art History. He has been working in animation since 2012, focusing on motion design, character animation and creative direction.
Duda’s work has been recognised with multiple awards at the LAD – Latin American Design Awards and the Brasil Design Awards. In recent years, Duda has been invited to serve as a jury member for the Motion Design Awards, contributing to the evaluation of international animation and motion design projects.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated on projects for brands and platforms such as Google, Fortnite, Amazon/MGM and HBO. After spending over a decade running his own studio, he now works as a freelance animation director and motion designer with studios such as Buck, State, Digital Kitchen and Golden Wolf.
Outside of work, Duda is a devoted father to a lovely three-year-old boy. In his spare time, he explores a more poetic side of visual arts, developing personal projects that have been exhibited in museums and galleries across Brazil and the United States.
