Stylist, Model Consumer Inc
As a young girl, Emily inherited a pile of Barbies from a much older cousin whose interests had long ago veered from dolls, to cocaine. Though they arrived with matted hair, dated makeup and nude (give or take a tiny plastic high heel), she loved and cared for each one as if they had been spawned from her own womb. Emily was given children’s scissors, scotch tape, tinfoil, Kleenex and old fabric swatches, and went to work giving these midlife ladies - who were once presumably astronauts, rockers, and professors, a new lease on life. Ostensibly, thus began her career as a stylist/storyteller.
She went to school for film theory (nerd), then lived in London, Paris, and New York. But, as the journey prescribes, she’s now back in her hometown of Los Angeles, having learned some valuable lessons along the way.
She has been super fortunate and humbled to have worked with some of the most talented and interesting people in her field.
