Michael'Middy'Ofori-Attah

Senior Editor, Cartel

Michael ‘Middy’ Ofori-Attah has established himself as an exceptional editor with a unique style. With over a decade of experience, his love for film and television began when his brother taught him how to edit on their home computer at the age of fifteen. At the time, he worked as a mascot at Chuck E. Cheese to save enough money to buy his first mini DV camera, which he used to shoot basketball highlight reels for his friends and school projects.

After college, he and a close friend produced their own show called What’s Poppin’. The show featured artists such as Diplo, Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, and many more global DJs, who they connected with by cold-calling their managers. Ofori-Attah filmed and edited all 26 episodes before selling the entire catalog to an independent television network in Canada. Following the sale, he began freelancing as an editor and developing his distinct style. This is evident in the title sequence he created for History Channel’s TV series Gangland Undercover. His sharp eye and keen attention to detail makes his work stand out.

Often sought after not only for his technical precision but also for his creative intuition, Ofori-Attah is regularly called upon to provide creative direction and guide projects from inception through final delivery. He has collaborated with a range of visionary directors—including Hubert Davis, Adrijan Assoufi, Jackson Tisi, Joshua Kissi, and Travis Hanour—on campaigns for brands such as the NFL, Gatorade, Adidas, Delta, Nike, and Coca-Cola. He has also worked with leading agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy, 72andSunny, Droga5, and Innocean Worldwide.

A trusted and inspiring collaborator with an exceptional eye, Ofori-Attah is known for developing compelling narratives with remarkable speed and finesse. His film and documentary work on UNINTERRUPTED’s Top Class, executive produced by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, is streaming on Prime Video.
